George Flowers

George D. Flowers was raised in Dothan, Alabama and attended Huntington College where he graduated in 1990 with a major in History. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the Mississippi College School of Law in 1994.
While attending law school, Mr. Flowers interned with the Supreme Court of Mississippi. After graduation, he worked in the Office of the Attorney General, Criminal Appeals Division and then later worked as a law clerk for the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals. He also worked for the Office of the District Attorney, 19th Judicial Circuit, where he was the DUI prosecutor for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. He was the first person to prosecute a case using the Draeger Alcotest MK-III-C (the breath machine used throughout Alabama).
Mr. Flowers became associated with Price Law Firm, P.C. in August 1999. In the summer of 2005, Mr. Flower’s efforts were recognized when he was made a full partner in the firm.
Mr. Flowers is associated with many professional organizations. In 1999, he joined the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. In the summer of 2001, he became a board member for the DUI Advocacy Committee of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He has attended sessions of the National College for DUI Defense at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts as well as in Kansas City, Kansas and New Orleans, Louisiana. From 2002 through the present, Mr. Flowers has held a variety of positions with the National College for DUI Defense including being elected to the position of Alabama Delegate, being a Sustaining Member and an Archive Committee Member. In 2005, he became the only person in the U.S. who has been made an Honorary Member of the California DUI Lawyers Association.
Mr. Flowers is a regular speaker at seminars on DUI defense throughout the state of Alabama. He has also been invited to speak at other seminars around the country. He spoke at the Arkansas DUI Defenders Seminar in Clinton, Arkansas in the spring of 2001 and in 2005 at the California DUI Lawyers Association Annual Meeting in Los Angeles as well as at the Mastering Scientific Evidence seminar in Houston, Texas. Mr. Flowers is certified as an instructor to law enforcement on case preparation and trial techniques and has served as an instructor at several Alabama law enforcement agencies.
